Danielle Paisley

Danielle Paisley is an award-winning graduate of the UCLA School of Nursing, healthcare writer, and mental health advocate. She is the recipient of the 2026 National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) National Young Leader of the Year Award, recognizing her leadership in mental health advocacy. Danielle has written for the national media platform Her Campus through its UCLA chapter, covering mental health, nursing, and lifestyle topics. She serves on the UCLA Campuswide Suicide Prevention Committee and has been recognized with the People’s Choice Research Award at the UCLA Nursing Science & Innovation Conference for her psychiatric nursing research. Danielle is passionate about translating complex healthcare topics and emerging research into evidence-based stories that educate and inform.
