About Course

Early recognition of clinical deterioration is critical in preventing patient harm. This 1.5-hour course empowers nurses and nursing students to confidently recognize and respond to airway obstructions, one of the most critical threats to patient safety. The session is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the signs and symptoms of airway compromise, enabling participants to identify issues early and intervene effectively. Participants will learn evidence-based initial interventions to secure the airway and practice real-world decision-making skills to determine when and how to escalate care. This course will equip healthcare professionals with the tools needed to protect the airway and improve patient outcomes.

Upon completion one (1) CE will be provided by Nurse Approved, LLC, a California BRN approved CEP #17734
